CVE-2026-101004

MediumCVSS 5.3
Published: Updated: Translated: NVD NIST

Summary

A security vulnerability was detected in notionnext-org NotionNext up to 4.10.10, affecting the cleanCache function in pages/api/cache.js (Authentication Guard component). Manipulation of the token argument leads to missing authentication. Versions 4.1.0 - 4.9.5.2 allow unauthenticated exploitation due to missing method check; in versions 4.9.5.7 - 4.10.10 a guard exists but is only enforced when CACHE_REVALIDATION_TOKEN is set, so default deployments remain unprotected. The vendor did not respond to the disclosure.

Risk Assessment

A remote attacker can invoke the cache clearing function without authentication, potentially disrupting service availability or performing unauthorized operations. Default deployments are particularly exposed.

Recommendation

Update NotionNext to a version newer than 4.10.10 if a vendor patch is available, and set the CACHE_REVALIDATION_TOKEN variable to enforce the guard. Consider restricting access to the API endpoint.
