An unauthenticated attacker can trigger content synchronization from Feedly, potentially creating multiple posts via a forged request if they can trick a site administrator into clicking a link.

Risk Assessment

An attacker can unauthorizedly create posts or modify content on the site, potentially leading to site clutter or spreading unwanted information.

Recommendation

Update the Sync Feedly plugin to the latest version that fixes the nonce validation. Until then, consider disabling the plugin.

Original NVD description (English source)

The Sync Feedly plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.1. This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the crsf_cron_job_func function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to trigger content synchronization from Feedly, potentially creating multiple posts via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
