Summary

The Beaver Builder Plugin (Starter Version) for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'auto_play' parameter in all versions up to and including 2.9.2.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. An authenticated attacker with Contributor-level access or above can inject arbitrary web scripts into pages that execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

Risk Assessment

This may lead to malicious code execution in visitors' browsers and potential session compromise or data theft.

Recommendation

Update the Beaver Builder Plugin (Starter Version) to a version newer than 2.9.2.1 and enforce proper sanitization of the 'auto_play' parameter.
