CVE-2025-64423

High
Published: Translated: NVD NIST

Summary

Coolify is an open-source tool for managing servers, applications, and databases. In versions up to and including v4.0.0-beta.434, a low-privileged user (member) can view and use invitation links sent to an administrator. If they use the link before the legitimate recipient, they can log in as an administrator, resulting in privilege escalation.

Risk Assessment

The risk is unauthorized takeover of an administrator account by a low-privileged user, potentially leading to full compromise of the system and data. An attacker could gain complete control over managed servers, applications, and databases.

Recommendation

Immediately restrict access to invitation links for low-privileged users and monitor their usage. Also check for available patches or temporarily disable the invitation feature until a fix is applied.
