CVE-2025-62292
MediumCVSS 4.3Exploitation Probability (EPSS)
Low risk12th percentile - higher than 12% of all known CVEs
Summary
In SonarQube before 25.6, 2025.3 Commercial, and 2025.1.3 LTA, authenticated low-privileged users can query the /api/v2/users-management/users endpoint and obtain user fields intended for administrators only, including the email addresses of other accounts.
Risk Assessment
A low-privileged user can access personal data (email addresses) of other users, constituting a confidentiality breach. This may facilitate further social engineering or phishing attacks targeting employees.
Recommendation
Update SonarQube to version 25.6, 2025.3 Commercial, or 2025.1.3 LTA (or later). Until then, consider restricting access to the mentioned endpoint.
