CVE-2025-62260
HighCVSS 7.5Exploitation Probability (EPSS)
Low risk31th percentile - higher than 31% of all known CVEs
Summary
Liferay Portal and Liferay DXP do not limit the number of objects returned from Headless API requests. This allows remote attackers to perform denial-of-service (DoS) attacks by executing a request that returns a large number of objects.
Risk Assessment
An attacker could remotely cause a denial of service by overloading the application. This may disrupt the availability of services relying on Liferay.
Recommendation
Update Liferay Portal and Liferay DXP to a patched version. Consider restricting access to the Headless API.
