Low risk12th percentile - higher than 12% of all known CVEs
Summary
A denial-of-service vulnerability exists in Secure Access Windows client versions 12.0 to 14.10, fixed in version 14.12. If a local networking policy is active, an attacker on an adjacent network may send a crafted packet and crash the client system.
Risk Assessment
An attacker on an adjacent network could remotely crash the VPN client, disrupting user work and resource access. The risk affects organizations using Secure Access on Windows endpoints with an active local networking policy.
Recommendation
Update the Secure Access Windows client to version 14.12 or later. Until updated, consider limiting client exposure to untrusted adjacent networks.
