Summary

Knowage (open source analytics and business intelligence suite) prior to version 8.1.37 contains a blind server-side request forgery vulnerability. Attackers can send requests to arbitrary hosts/paths, but cannot read the response, limiting impact, yet enabling internal network scanning.

Risk Assessment

The risk includes the ability to scan the organization's internal network, which may reveal available services and aid in further attacks.

Recommendation

It is recommended to upgrade Knowage to version 8.1.37 or later, which includes the fix, and to restrict access to internal resources from the application.
