Low risk6th percentile - higher than 6% of all known CVEs
Summary
Excess permissions vulnerability in the Warehouse component of Absolute Secure Access prior to version 14.10. Attackers with access to the local file system can read the Java keystore file. Low attack complexity, no attack requirements, low privileges required, no user interaction. Low impact to confidentiality, no impact to integrity or availability.
Risk Assessment
Disclosure of the keystore file could allow an attacker to recover cryptographic keys, potentially leading to compromise of data confidentiality or authentication.
Recommendation
It is recommended to upgrade Absolute Secure Access to version 14.10 or later and secure keystore files against unauthorized access.
