Summary

A double destruction of the rsv_qp object was found in the Linux kernel's RDMA HNS driver. The issue occurs when rsv_qp is destroyed first in free_mr_init() and then in hns_roce_exit() during error handling, leading to list corruption.

Risk Assessment

An attacker could exploit this flaw to cause a kernel panic or potentially escalate privileges by manipulating kernel data structures.

Recommendation

Update the Linux kernel to a version containing the fix that moves the free_mr_init() call into hns_roce_v2_init().
