CVE-2025-34025
HighCVSS 8.8Exploitation Probability (EPSS)
Low risk36th percentile - higher than 36% of all known CVEs
Summary
The Versa Concerto SD-WAN orchestration platform is vulnerable to a privileges escalation and container escape vulnerability caused by unsafe default mounting of host binary paths that allow the container to modify host paths. The escape can be used to trigger remote code execution or direct host access depending on the host operating system configuration. This issue is known to affect Concerto from 12.1.2 through 12.2.0. Additional versions may be vulnerable.
Risk Assessment
An attacker could gain full control over the host, potentially leading to complete compromise of the SD-WAN infrastructure and the data processed within it.
Recommendation
It is recommended to immediately update Versa Concerto to a version that includes a fix and review the mounting configuration of host paths in containers.
Other vulnerabilities in Versa Concerto
See all- CVE-2025-34027Critical
The Versa Concerto SD-WAN orchestration platform is vulnerable to an authentication bypass in the Traefik reverse proxy configuration, allowing an attacker to access administrative endpoints. The Spack upload endpoint can be leveraged for a TOCTOU write with a race condition to achieve remote code execution (RCE). This issue affects Concerto from 12.1.2 through 12.2.0.
- CVE-2025-34026HighActively exploited
The Versa Concerto SD-WAN orchestration platform is vulnerable to an authentication bypass in the Traefik reverse proxy configuration, allowing an attacker to access administrative endpoints. The internal Actuator endpoint can be leveraged for access to heap dumps and trace logs.
