CVE-2025-26694
MediumCVSS 5.5Exploitation Probability (EPSS)
Low risk3th percentile - higher than 3% of all known CVEs
Summary
Null pointer dereference in Intel(R) QAT Windows software before version 2.6.0 within Ring 3: User Applications may allow a denial of service. An authenticated user with a low-complexity attack can cause a denial of service via local access.
Risk Assessment
This can lead to system or application unavailability, disrupting operations. It requires an authenticated user, but the low attack complexity increases the risk.
Recommendation
Update Intel(R) QAT Windows software to version 2.6.0 or later. Restrict local access to necessary users.

Untrusted pointer dereference in some Intel(R) QAT Windows software before version 2.6.0 within Ring 3: User Applications may allow an information disclosure.
- CVE-2025-24519Medium
A buffer overflow in some Intel(R) QAT Windows software before version 2.6.0 within user applications (Ring 3) may allow data manipulation. An authenticated attacker with low attack complexity can exploit it without user interaction.
Original NVD description (English source)
Null pointer dereference for some Intel(R) QAT Windows software before version 2.6.0. within Ring 3: User Applications may allow a denial of service. System software adversary with an authenticated user combined with a low complexity attack may enable denial of service. This result may potentially occur via local access when attack requirements are not present without special internal knowledge and requires no user interaction. The potential vulnerability may impact the confidentiality (none), integrity (none) and availability (high) of the vulnerable system, resulting in subsequent system confidentiality (none), integrity (none) and availability (none) impacts.
