Summary

In the Linux kernel, a vulnerability in the USB gadget subsystem allows device_del() to schedule new work in the gadget->work workqueue. The fix moves flush_work() after device_del() to ensure the workqueue is cleaned up.

Risk Assessment

This can lead to memory leaks, hangs, or system instability when removing USB gadget devices, particularly with the dwc3 driver.

Recommendation

Update the Linux kernel to a version containing this fix to avoid workqueue issues in the USB gadget subsystem.
