Summary

The FuseWP – WordPress User Sync to Email List & Marketing Automation plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 1.1.23.0. This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the save_changes function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to add or edit sync rules via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.

Risk Assessment

An attacker can modify user sync rules with email lists, potentially leading to data leakage or unauthorized marketing actions.

Recommendation

Update the FuseWP plugin to a version later than 1.1.23.0.
