CVE-2025-11969
CriticalCVSS 9.4Summary
The System REST APIs do not correctly enforce access control mechanisms, allowing users with lower privilege roles to execute administrative actions that should be restricted. This weakness permits unauthorized operations on the affected product. APIs exposed through the WSO2 API Manager's API Gateway are not affected.
Risk Assessment
A low-privileged attacker could perform administrative operations, potentially leading to privilege escalation and unauthorized changes to the system.
Recommendation
Apply the vendor patch that restores proper access control in the System REST APIs and review user roles and permissions.
