CVE-2025-0108

CriticalCVSS 9.1KEV
Published: Updated: Translated: NVD NIST

Summary

An authentication bypass in Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS software enables an unauthenticated attacker with network access to the management web interface to bypass authentication and invoke certain PHP scripts. This does not enable remote code execution but can negatively impact integrity and confidentiality.

Risk Assessment

An attacker can access the management interface without authentication, potentially leading to unauthorized configuration changes or information disclosure. Risk can be greatly reduced by restricting management interface access to trusted IP addresses only.

Recommendation

Restrict access to the PAN-OS management web interface to only trusted internal IP addresses according to Palo Alto Networks best practices. Also, apply the latest security updates.
