Summary

In the Linux kernel netfilter ctnetlink, the expectation deletion path did not call nf_expect_get_id() to calculate the ID. This leaks the least significant bit of the expectation object address to userspace.

Risk Assessment

May lead to leakage of kernel address information to userspace, aiding ASLR bypass.

Recommendation

Update the Linux kernel to a version containing the fix that uses nf_expect_get_id() to calculate the ID.
