Summary

In the Linux kernel, the SELinux subsystem has a bug where it continues and dereferences an error pointer when kern_mount() fails. This can lead to invalid memory access.

Risk Assessment

May cause a kernel panic or system instability if mounting the SELinux filesystem fails.

Recommendation

Update the Linux kernel to a version containing the fix that returns the error instead of dereferencing the error pointer.
