Summary
A NULL pointer dereference in the ngap_app::handle_receive routine of OpenAirInterface CN5G AMF (oai-cn5g-amf) up to v2.0.0 allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via a crafted NGAP message.

An attacker can remotely crash the AMF function, leading to disruption of 5G network operations and inability to handle control plane traffic.
Recommendation
Immediately update OpenAirInterface CN5G AMF to a version newer than 2.0.0 where this vulnerability is fixed. Until then, filter NGAP traffic at the network firewall.
