Summary

Stack-based buffer overflows in mulicast_parse_sadp_packet and mulicast_get_pack_type functions of the SADP protocol in EZVIZ products allow an unauthenticated attacker on the same local network to achieve remote code execution.

Risk Assessment

An attacker could take control of the camera, access surveillance footage, or use the device as an entry point into the organization's internal network.

Recommendation

Update the firmware of all affected EZVIZ cameras to the versions specified in the CVE description. Restrict trusted devices on the local network.
