CVE-2022-51023
HighCVSS 8.2Exploitation Probability (EPSS)
Low risk18th percentile - higher than 18% of all known CVEs
Summary
PHPOK 4.5.000 before 5.4.081 contains an SQL injection vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to manipulate ORDER BY clauses via the sort parameter. Attackers can send GET requests to /api.php?c=project&f=index with extractvalue payloads in sort to extract database information through error messages.
Risk Assessment
An unauthenticated attacker can read database data through application errors, leading to information leakage. This may be used for further attack escalation.
Recommendation
Upgrade PHPOK to version 5.4.081 or later and enforce validation of the sort parameter and parameterized queries. Disable detailed error messages in production.
