Summary

A vulnerability in the Linux Kernel 6.0-rc2 within the nft_osf_eval function allows a local attacker to disclose sensitive information. It results from the lack of proper memory initialization prior to access. The attacker must first obtain the ability to execute high-privileged code.

Risk Assessment

Disclosure of sensitive kernel memory data may lead to leakage of confidential information. Combined with other vulnerabilities, it may enable arbitrary code execution in the kernel context.

Recommendation

Update the Linux kernel to a version containing the fix for nft_osf_eval. Restrict high-privileged code execution to trusted users.
