Zoho - ManageEngine · Listed in the CISA KEV since 2023-03-07. This indicates confirmed attacks in production environments.
Required action: Apply updates per vendor instructions.
CVE-2022-28810
MediumCVSS 6.8KEVSummary
Zoho ManageEngine ADSelfService Plus before build 6122 allows a remote authenticated administrator to execute arbitrary operating OS commands as SYSTEM via the policy custom script feature. Due to the use of a default administrator password, attackers may be able to abuse this functionality with minimal effort. Additionally, a remote and partially authenticated attacker may be able to inject arbitrary commands into the custom script due to an unsanitized password field.
Risk Assessment
An attacker could gain full control over the system by executing commands as SYSTEM, leading to complete server takeover. The default administrator password further increases the risk.
Recommendation
Update Zoho ManageEngine ADSelfService Plus to build 6122 or later. Immediately change default administrator passwords and restrict access to the administrative interface.

- CVE-2021-40539CriticalActively exploited
Zoho ManageEngine ADSelfService Plus version 6113 and prior is vulnerable to REST API authentication bypass with resultant remote code execution.
- CVE-2018-5353Critical
The custom GINA/CP module in Zoho ManageEngine ADSelfService Plus before version 5.5 build 5517 allows remote attackers to execute code and escalate privileges via spoofing. It does not authenticate the intended server before opening a browser window, enabling an unauthenticated attacker to redirect the browser and gain execution in the context of the WinLogon.exe process.
