CVE-2016-9469
HighSummary
Multiple versions of GitLab expose a dangerous method that could lead to the deletion of all Issue and MergeRequest objects by any authenticated user. For publicly available projects, this vulnerability could be exploited by unauthenticated users.
Risk Assessment
Organizations may lose all data related to issues and merge requests, leading to significant disruptions in team workflows and loss of critical information.
Recommendation
It is recommended to upgrade to versions 8.14.3, 8.13.8, or 8.12.11 to mitigate this vulnerability. Additionally, consider restricting access to public projects.
