CVE-2016-3743

The decoder/ih264d_api.c in mediaserver in Android 6.x before 2016-07-01 does not initialize certain data structures, allowing remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (memory corruption) via a crafted media file.

An attacker can exploit this vulnerability to execute code remotely, posing a serious threat to the security of devices and user data.

It is recommended to update the Android system to a version after 2016-07-01 to mitigate this vulnerability and to monitor devices for suspicious activity.
