CVE-2007-5383
HighSummary
Router Thomson/Alcatel SpeedTouch 7G, używany w BT Home Hub 6.2.6.B i wcześniejszych wersjach, pozwala zdalnym atakującym w intranecie na ominięcie uwierzytelnienia i uzyskanie dostępu administracyjnego poprzez wykorzystanie znaku '/' na końcu PATH_INFO do cgi/b, znanego jako 'bypass uwierzytelnienia podwójnym ukośnikiem'.
Risk Assessment
Atakujący mogą zyskać pełny dostęp do routera, co może prowadzić do poważnych naruszeń bezpieczeństwa w sieci wewnętrznej organizacji. Dodatkowo, zdalni atakujący spoza intranetu mogą wykorzystać osobną podatność CSRF do przeprowadzenia ataku.
Recommendation
Zaleca się aktualizację oprogramowania routera do najnowszej wersji oraz wdrożenie dodatkowych środków zabezpieczających, aby zminimalizować ryzyko ataków związanych z tą podatnością.

In cjose versions 0.6.1 through 0.6.2.5, when encrypting a JWE using AES-CBC-HMAC content-encryption algorithms (A128CBC-HS256, A192CBC-HS384, A256CBC-HS512) with any key-management algorithm that generates a fresh content-encryption key (CEK), the CEK is all zero bytes instead of being randomly generated. The resulting JWE is encrypted and authenticated under a fixed, publicly known key, allowing anyone who obtains the JWE to recover plaintext and forge or modify content. Fixed in 0.6.2.6 by generating CEK from RAND_bytes.

OPNsense is a FreeBSD based firewall and routing platform. Prior to version 26.1.9 of opnsense/core and version 26.4_20 of BE/opnsense/core, a path traversal vulnerability in the NTP configuration module allows an attacker to overwrite arbitrary files on the system as the root user. By manipulating the GPS or PPS serial port parameter, an attacker with access to the NTP configuration can escape the intended directory and write user-controlled data to any file.

The Auth0 AD/LDAP Connector is vulnerable to stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) issues due to improper HTML encoding of data in search results and updater log content displayed in the admin panel. An authenticated user with privileges to modify directory attributes, or a low-privileged local user on the host, could insert script content that executes in an administrator's browser.

In Eclipse Ditto's Node.js JavaScript client, all released versions of @eclipse-ditto/ditto-javascript-client-node from 2.0.0 to 3.9.0 and of its predecessor package @eclipse-ditto/ditto-javascript-client-node_1.0 from 1.0.0 to 2.1.0, the WebSocket transport hard-codes rejectUnauthorized: false when creating the underlying ws WebSocket. Certificate chain and hostname validation are disabled for every wss:// connection, with no builder option, constructor argument, or environment variable to enable it. An attacker intercepting the connection can present an arbitrary certificate, complete the TLS handshake, read credentials sent in the Authorization header, and read, alter, or inject Ditto Protocol messages.

In checkReadPermission of PermissionsManager.java, there is a possible way to monitor sensitive device state data due to a missing permission check. This could lead to local information disclosure without additional execution privileges. User interaction is not needed.
Original NVD description (English source)
The Thomson/Alcatel SpeedTouch 7G router, as used for the BT Home Hub 6.2.6.B and earlier, allows remote attackers on an intranet to bypass authentication and gain administrative access via vectors including a '/' (slash) character at the end of the PATH_INFO to cgi/b, aka "double-slash auth bypass." NOTE: remote attackers outside the intranet can exploit this by leveraging a separate CSRF vulnerability. NOTE: SpeedTouch 780 might also be affected by some of these issues.
