Summary

Multiple PHP remote file inclusion vulnerabilities in the Product Scroller Module and other modules of the mambo-phpshop (com_phpshop) extension for Mambo and Joomla! allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code by supplying a URL in the mosConfig_absolute_path parameter in eight module files.

Risk Assessment

An attacker can execute arbitrary PHP code on the server, leading to full compromise of the application and potentially the entire server, including data theft and backdoor installation.
