Weekly CVE digest
One email a week with newly published vulnerabilities worth knowing about. No account needed.
This digest covers new vulnerabilities in general, not your servers. If you want to know which of them actually run in your infrastructure, that is what Secvalis does: it scans your machines and reports only what concerns them.
SAP Approuter does not consistently handle certain error conditions. An attacker with low privileges could exploit this under a non-default configuration. Successful exploitation is highly complex, as it depends on conditions outside the attacker's control. This could result in a low impact on availability. There is no impact on confidentiality and integrity.
SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization (Model Mix Planning) contains a hardcoded credential within the source code of the application to perform authorization check to access certain functionalities in the application. An attacker with high privileges could leverage this hardcoded credential to bypass authorization and delete specific planning-related restrictions in the application. Successful exploitation could result in a low impact on confidentiality and integrity, with no impact on availability of the application.
SAP Approuter does not sufficiently validate tenant context in inbound requests. An unauthenticated attacker could send specially crafted requests to spoof the tenant context under conditions not fully within their control. Successful exploitation could allow limited access to another tenant's information, resulting in a low impact on confidentiality. There is no impact on integrity and availability.
SAP Data Services Management Console allows an overly permissive Content Security Policy (CSP) configuration and lacks certain restrictive directives, which could enable an authenticated malicious user to leverage this weakness in combination with another vulnerability to inject and execute malicious scripts within the application's context. Successful exploitation may result in a low impact on confidentiality and integrity, with no impact on the availability of the application.
The vulnerability in the UpdateHub subsystem (subsys/mgmt/updatehub/updatehub.c) is due to unsynchronized access to the shared ctx structure. Concurrent operations (background autohandler and user-triggered calls) can write past the fds[1] array, overwriting adjacent struct fields, leading to internal state corruption and denial of service in the firmware update path.
The UpdateHub OTA client leaks a CoAP/DTLS socket descriptor on connection-setup failure paths. A bug in cleanup logic prevents the socket from being closed, and the open descriptor is overwritten on the next attempt, permanently leaking it from the socket pool until reboot.
A NULL pointer vulnerability has been found in the shim application of the dp.c library. The missing NULL check could allow attackers to perform a denial of service attack on a system using the shim application for UEFI bootloader.
The UpdateHub OTA client in Zephyr OS contains an uninitialized heap memory read and out-of-bounds read in z_impl_updatehub_probe(). A malicious UpdateHub server can send a crafted response that, after a failed first JSON parse, uses a non-NUL-terminated metadata_copy buffer, leading to a read past the allocated memory and potentially crashing the device.
TBEA TLogger V2.1.0.0B0.0.0.0 exposes a UART interface on the device's circuit board without sufficient protection. A physically proximate attacker can connect to the UART interface and observe the device boot process and runtime debug output. The disclosed information includes operating system details, software versions, network configuration, filesystem paths, and other implementation and debugging information that may assist an attacker in further compromising the device.
Calling wordexp with WRDE_APPEND in the GNU C Library version 2.0 to version 2.43 can cause the interface to return invalid memory in the we_wordv member, which on subsequent calls to wordfree may abort the process.
A vulnerability in Discourse prior to 2026.1.6, 2026.5.2, 2026.6.1, and 2026.7.0. The discourse-local-dates plugin rendered crafted local-date format data as HTML on sites with a modified or disabled default Content Security Policy.
A vulnerability in Python's csv.Sniffer where attacker-controlled CSV samples can trigger super-linear regular-expression work during dialect sniffing, consuming significant CPU.
An Open Redirect vulnerability in phoenix_live_view from 0.5.0 before 1.0.19, from 1.1.0-rc.0 before 1.1.33, and from 1.2.0-rc.0 before 1.2.9. An attacker can redirect a victim's browser to an external site via a :to value containing ASCII tab, LF, or CR.
Authorization bypass in SemClipboardService prior to SMR Aug-2026 Release 1 allows local attackers to access clipboard data.
The Accept PayPal & Stripe with Subscriptions for WooCommerce WordPress plugin through version 3.1.0 does not validate the amount actually paid against the order total in its PayPal Data Transfer return handler, allowing a customer to pay less than the order total and still have the order marked as fully paid when the PayPal Data Transfer feature is enabled.
The Booking for Appointments and Events Calendar WordPress plugin before version 9.7 does not verify that an authenticated employee (provider) is related to the customer whose record is being accessed, allowing any employee with an Employee Panel login to read and modify the stored personal data of any customer by enumerating sequential identifiers.
The LearnPress WordPress plugin before version 4.4.4 does not validate a user-supplied URL before the server fetches it, allowing users with the instructor role to induce the server to issue requests to arbitrary external hosts, a blind and bounded server-side request forgery.
A weakness has been identified in Almico Speedfan 4.52, affecting the function KiSystemCall64 in the library speedfan.sys, within the MSR Index Handler component. Manipulation can lead to a memory leak. The attack requires local access, and the exploit is publicly available.
A vulnerability was identified in Mullvad wireguard.sys 0.10.1, affecting the function AdapterState in the IOCTL Handler component. Manipulation leads to improper update of reference count. Local access is required, and the exploit is publicly available.
A Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability exists in nltk/nltk versions 3.9.4 and the current develop branch. The nltk.pathsec.validate_network_url() function, intended to prevent SSRF by rejecting internal network addresses, fails to reject IPs in the RFC 6598 shared address space (100.64.0.0/10). This occurs because Python's ipaddress module does not classify such addresses as is_private or is_global, and the current guard only checks is_private and a few explicit categories. An attacker who can influence a URL passed to NLTK's network-loading helpers can exploit this vulnerability to make a strict-mode application send requests to shared-address-space hosts, potentially exposing non-public infrastructure reachable from the application host. The impact is limited to SSRF-style confidentiality exposure, with no code execution claimed.
