Weekly CVE digest

One email a week with newly published vulnerabilities worth knowing about. No account needed.

This digest covers new vulnerabilities in general, not your servers. If you want to know which of them actually run in your infrastructure, that is what Secvalis does: it scans your machines and reports only what concerns them.

I agree to receive the weekly CVE digest at the address above. I can withdraw this consent at any time using the link in the footer of every message.

CVE-2026-95210
Medium

Improper certificate validation in gnutls v3.8.13 causes the application to accept certificates containing invalid extensions.

CVE-2026-95184
Medium

Improper certificate validation in gnutls v3.8.13 causes the application to reject legitimate certificates for valid users, leading to a Denial of Service (DoS).

CVE-2026-93861
Medium

In OpenStack Mistral through 23.0.0, the workflow membership API lets a project that has accepted a share of another project's private workflow create a further membership naming a third project. The new membership row is created with its project_id defaulted to the accepting project rather than the original workflow owner, and thus the owner can neither see nor delete it. The third project can accept this membership (that it had not actually been granted by the owner), and then read and execute the owner's private workflow; only the accepting (not the owning) project can later revoke that access.

CVE-2026-93860
High

In OpenStack Mistral through 23.0.0, the /v2/maintenance API controller clears the request context and calls the maintenance service directly without any policy enforcement. Any holder of a valid Mistral token, regardless of assigned role, can read and change the service's cluster-wide maintenance state.

CVE-2026-93858
High

In OpenStack Mistral through 23.0.0, the std.ssh_proxied action passes a caller-supplied proxy_command value directly to paramiko.ProxyCommand() before any SSH connection is attempted. An authenticated project member can use the standard action-execution API to submit an arbitrary local command as proxy_command, which is started as a subprocess on the executor host. Only deployments that permit the std.ssh_proxied action, the default configuration, are affected.

CVE-2026-107702
Medium

QloApps through 1.7.0 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability in AdminHotelRoomsBookingController::postProcess() that allows restricted back-office employees to access other hotels' data by supplying an id_hotel parameter. Attackers can modify the id_hotel URL parameter on the Book Now page to view room availability and booking status of hotels outside their assigned profile access.

CVE-2026-107698
Medium

FFmpeg before 7.1.4 and 8.0.x before 8.0.2 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability in ff_rtsp_connect() in libavformat/rtsp.c that follows RTSP 3xx redirects without validating the Location URL. Malicious RTSP servers can redirect FFmpeg to internal hosts and ports under other schemes, bypassing -protocol_whitelist, to probe internal network services.

CVE-2026-107697
Medium

FFmpeg before 8.1.3 contains a protection mechanism failure in the HLS demuxer that allows attackers to bypass protocol and allowed_extensions restrictions when opening child playlists. Attackers can supply a crafted master playlist whose child playlists use disallowed protocols or non-multimedia local files, making parse_playlist() open resources the HLS security policy should block.

CVE-2026-107696
Medium

FFmpeg through 9.0.2 contains an infinite loop vulnerability in ff_rtsp_connect() in libavformat/rtsp.c that follows RTSP 3xx redirects without any redirect limit. Attackers controlling an RTSP server can answer every request with a 302 redirect to itself or another server, causing endless reconnects that saturate a CPU core.

CVE-2026-107695
Medium

FFmpeg before 8.1.3 contains an infinite loop vulnerability in the HLS demuxer that allows remote attackers to cause denial of service because parse_playlist() accepts Master Playlist tags inside Media Playlists. Attackers can trick victims into opening a crafted self-referencing playlist that endlessly adds variants in hls_read_header(), causing unbounded CPU and I/O consumption.

CVE-2026-107380
Medium

savg-sanitizer is a PHP SVG/XML sanitizer. Prior to 1.0.0, isHrefSafeValue() validates an SVG href after XML DTD entity expansion, but saveXML() serializes the original entity reference after removing the DTD declaration. A crafted entity such as Tab can appear to the sanitizer as a safe fragment prefix while HTML5 Named Character Reference resolution during inline HTML rendering later converts the surviving reference to whitespace, exposing a javascript: URL. When an application embeds the sanitized SVG inline, a user who activates the link can cause script to execute in the embedding page's origin. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.0.

CVE-2026-107379
Medium

savg-sanitizer is a PHP SVG/XML sanitizer. Prior to 1.0.0, a crafted SVG DTD with a #FIXED attribute default can make cleanAttributesOnWhitelist() perform a double DOMElement::removeAttribute() call on the same attribute name in src/Sanitizer.php. The first removal deletes the explicit attribute, while the DTD default rematerializes the value before the href safety path performs the second removal, which can corrupt libxml state and terminate the PHP worker. An attacker who can submit SVG content to a sanitization endpoint can repeatedly interrupt workers and degrade or exhaust application availability. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.0.

CVE-2026-107378
High

CairoSVG prior to 2.9.1 has a performance issue when rendering an SVG with a path containing many segments, causing quadratic CPU consumption in cairosvg/path.py. The path tokenizer repeatedly slices and rescans the remaining path data, while draw_markers drains node.vertices with pop(0), causing repeated linear-time work. The svg2png, svg2pdf, and svg2ps APIs reach these operations during ordinary rendering, allowing a sub-megabyte SVG to consume substantial CPU and deny service.

CVE-2026-107377
High

datamodel-code-generator from 0.59.0 until 0.81.0 has a vulnerability where an attacker-controlled Protobuf schema can supply absolute or parent-directory paths captured by WEAK_IMPORT_PATTERN and consumed by _write_missing_weak_imports. Exploitation requires a victim or automated job to process the schema with Protobuf input support (grpcio-tools). The paths escape the weak_imports temporary directory, allowing creation of directory trees, new files, or overwrite of existing writable files with a generated Protobuf syntax declaration.

CVE-2026-107376
High

webonyx graphql-php prior to 15.32.3 has a stack exhaustion vulnerability in GraphQL\Language\Parser, which performs recursive descent without a recursion limit in parseSelectionSet, parseValueLiteral, and parseTypeReference. A remote attacker can submit deeply nested selection sets, object or list values, or list types that exhaust the PHP process stack during pre-validation parsing. The resulting SIGSEGV can terminate PHP-FPM workers or long-running processes.

CVE-2026-107375
High

JHipster from 7.0.0 until 9.4.0 has a vulnerability in generated reactive applications (Spring WebFlux, Spring Data R2DBC, SQL). The attacker-controlled sort request parameter is passed into createOrderByFields in EntityManager_reactive.java.ejs, and rendered into the SQL ORDER BY clause without validation or quoting. The R2DBC simple query protocol can execute additional statements separated by semicolons. A normal authenticated user can read sensitive tables, modify or delete data, or drop tables.

CVE-2026-107362
High

The Malcolm file-upload component ships the upstream FilePond PHP server largely unmodified. Upstream index.php exposes a fetch API route that instructs the server to download an arbitrary URL with curl (including FOLLOWLOCATION) and, for HEAD requests, stores the fetched response body in the transfer directory and returns the transfer ID, enabling full readback of the fetched content.

CVE-2026-107361
Medium

The Arkime live capture service (arkime-live) in Malcolm runs with network_mode: host, exposing port 8005 on all network interfaces (viewHost=0.0.0.0). Arkime trusts the X-Forwarded-User header from any IP address (userAuthIps=::,0.0.0.0/0) and auto-creates users with full access. The passwordSecret is hardcoded to the public value "Malcolm". A network-adjacent attacker bypasses nginx entirely by connecting directly to port 8005 with a forged identity header.
