Weekly CVE digest

One email a week with newly published vulnerabilities worth knowing about. No account needed.

This digest covers new vulnerabilities in general, not your servers. If you want to know which of them actually run in your infrastructure, that is what Secvalis does: it scans your machines and reports only what concerns them.

I agree to receive the weekly CVE digest at the address above. I can withdraw this consent at any time using the link in the footer of every message.

CVE-2026-76884
Low

ERF file parser crash in 4.6.0 to 4.6.7 and 4.4.0 to 4.4.18 allows denial of service.

CVE-2026-76371
Low

In FireAMP versions below 2.1.15, a user with a role that can edit, create, or run playbooks in Splunk SOAR could run the add listitem action in a Safe Mode playbook while that action is listed as read-only, which could allow for unauthorized changes to file lists. The vulnerability is possible because the FireAMP connector action manifest classifies the add listitem action as read-only even though the action updates file lists.

CVE-2026-76369
Low

In Splunk SOAR versions below 8.6.0, a user who holds the OnPrem Broker role could write files outside the intended Automation Broker log directory. The vulnerability is possible because Automation Broker log uploads accept crafted filename input before writing log files.

CVE-2026-76368
Low

In Splunk SOAR versions below 8.6.0, a user who holds a role that contains the playbooks:view permission could view metadata about a playbook repository that they are not authorized to view. The vulnerability is possible because Playbook History does not check repository permissions before returning playbook revision metadata.

CVE-2026-76361
Low

In Splunk SOAR versions below 8.6.0, a user with the "Administrator" role could use the /rest/support/connectivity/.../check_connectivity endpoint to make Splunk SOAR initiate outbound network connections to arbitrary destinations and determine whether internal hosts and ports are reachable. The Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) is possible because the connectivity check REST API does not sufficiently validate the destination before Splunk SOAR connects to it.

CVE-2026-76348
Low

In Splunk Enterprise versions below 10.4.2, 10.2.6, 10.0.9, and 9.4.14, a user who holds a Splunk role that contains the high-privilege list_search_head_clustering capability could send a read request to Search Head Cluster member control endpoints and change cluster state, which could allow for a denial of service. The vulnerability is possible because the Search Head Cluster member control endpoints do not require a state-changing Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) request type before they apply read-only authorization.

CVE-2026-75476
Low

Tanium addressed a compression bomb vulnerability in Threat Response.

CVE-2026-68554
Low

Coturn is a free open source implementation of TURN and STUN Server. Prior to 4.15.0, an on-path attacker can append attributes after MESSAGE-INTEGRITY to an authenticated STUN request on plain UDP or TCP, adjust the STUN header length, and recompute the unkeyed FINGERPRINT while the original HMAC remains valid because it covers only the message prefix. Server-side parsing in src/server/ns_turn_server.c continues past MESSAGE-INTEGRITY through handle_turn_allocate(), handle_turn_create_permission(), handle_turn_refresh(), and handle_turn_command(), allowing trailing LIFETIME, XOR-PEER-ADDRESS, or ORIGIN attributes to override allocation lifetime, inject a permission, or bypass the origin check. TLS and DTLS deployments prevent this in-transit modification. This issue is fixed in version 4.15.0.

CVE-2026-18102
Low

IBM i 7.6, 7.5, 7.4, and 7.3 could allow a remote authenticated attacker to overwrite adjacent memory due to an integer underflow during bounds checking.

CVE-2026-11617
Low

Tanium addressed a compression bomb vulnerability in Findings.

CVE-2026-61712
Low

BuildKit is a toolkit for converting source code to build artifacts in an efficient, expressive and repeatable manner. Prior to 0.31.1, BuildKit read attacker-controlled /etc/passwd and /etc/group files without an upper bound while resolving a username to a user identifier or group identifier in executor/oci/user.go and solver/llbsolver/ops/user_linux.go. A malicious base image or build could provide oversized files that exhausted memory during user resolution and caused out-of-memory termination of the buildkitd process. This issue is fixed in version 0.31.1.

CVE-2026-16891
Low

IBM AIX 7.2, 7.3 and IBM PowerVM VIOS 4.1 could allow a local attacker to obtain sensitive information due to an out-of-bounds read.

CVE-2026-16890
Low

IBM AIX 7.2, 7.3 and IBM PowerVM VIOS 4.1 could allow a local attacker to obtain sensitive information or cause a denial of service due to an integer overflow.

CVE-2026-16888
Low

IBM AIX 7.2, 7.3 and IBM PowerVM VIOS 4.1 could allow a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information due to a path traversal vulnerability.

CVE-2026-73829
Low

Time-of-check Time-of-use (TOCTOU) Race Condition in ZenHive mpp allows an unauthenticated remote client to redeem one confirmed on-chain payment for multiple paid-resource accesses. The type="hash" credential path in MPP.Methods.Tempo.verify/2 guards against replay with a non-atomic check-then-mark sequence: check_hash_unused/2 reads the dedup store, an eth_getTransactionReceipt round trip verifies the payment on chain, and only then does mark_hash_used/2 write the mark. Concurrent requests carrying the same settled payment hash all pass the read before any of them writes, so each is issued a receipt. The store's atomic check_and_mark/2 primitive is available and used by the type="transaction" path, but the hash path calls plain get and put even when the configured store implements it. Exploitation requires a dedup store to be configured; the default nil store is stateless and documented as offering no replay protection at all. This issue affects mpp: from 0.2.0 before 0.6.1.

CVE-2026-75583
Low

keeper.sh's calendar module version prior to 2.18.14 contains a server-side request forgery (SSRF) guard bypass vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers to reach private network addresses by exploiting a DNS rebinding attack against the two-phase URL validation and connection flow. The SSRF guard validates a hostname's resolved IP addresses but discards them before the actual HTTP connection is opened, allowing an attacker who controls authoritative DNS to return a public address during validation and a private address during the subsequent independent socket-level DNS resolution, causing the guard to pass while the outbound connection reaches internal infrastructure such as cloud instance metadata endpoints.

CVE-2026-65610
Low

nnn stores homelen variable as uchar_t, which can only represent values in the range 0-255. An attacker who can influence the victim's execution environment can provide an arbitrary HOME path with length that is truncated to 0. The expression (homelen - 1) is promoted to signed int and becomes -1, producing an out-of-bounds read and an out-of-bounds write one byte before the path buffer. Only version 5.2 was tested and confirmed as vulnerable.

CVE-2026-65609
Low

nnn is vulnerable to an out-of-bounds write vulnerability. Due to lack of validation of attacker-controlled length fields deserialized from a session file, a crafted session file can cause nnn to write data beyond the bounds of fixed-size global buffers when loaded with the -s option. An attacker who can place a malicious session file in the victim's nnn session directory can exploit this to corrupt adjacent global state. Only version 5.2 was tested and confirmed as vulnerable.

CVE-2026-49423
Low

When building the iovec array for a received TLS 1.2 CBC record, ktls_ocf_tls_cbc_decrypt() incremented the iovec index for every mbuf in the chain, including mbufs that were skipped because they contained only TLS header bytes. This left uninitialized entries in the iovec array, which was allocated without zeroing. A remote TLS peer can cause the kernel to read from uninitialized iovec entries during HMAC computation, resulting in a kernel panic. The peer must be able to control TCP segmentation such that the first mbuf of a CBC record contains only the 5-byte TLS record header.

CVE-2026-49431
Low

The ZFS_IOC_SET_PROP ioctl, used by zfs-set(8), incorrectly validated the calling user such that an unprivileged user is able to set metadata on a dataset indicating that the dataset has received properties from a zfs-recv(8) stream. Any local user can set the internal ZFS metadata flag "$hasrecvd" on datasets via ZFS_IOC_SET_PROP.
