Weekly CVE digest
One email a week with newly published vulnerabilities worth knowing about. No account needed.
This digest covers new vulnerabilities in general, not your servers. If you want to know which of them actually run in your infrastructure, that is what Secvalis does: it scans your machines and reports only what concerns them.
In applications using OAuth::Consumer to request OAuth 1.0 tokens, the token request helper follows 300..399 redirects returned by the OAuth server. In affected versions, OAuth::Consumer#token_request parses the raw Location header and recursively follows the redirect.
A vulnerability has been identified in the Linux kernel related to a heap buffer overflow in the __ioam6_fill_trace_data() function. This issue occurs on the receive path, where the function incorrectly assesses the amount of data to write based on a trusted field from the incoming packet.
