Weekly CVE digest

One email a week with newly published vulnerabilities worth knowing about. No account needed.

This digest covers new vulnerabilities in general, not your servers. If you want to know which of them actually run in your infrastructure, that is what Secvalis does: it scans your machines and reports only what concerns them.

I agree to receive the weekly CVE digest at the address above. I can withdraw this consent at any time using the link in the footer of every message.

CVE-2026-57119
High

In PraisonAI prior to 4.6.59, the unauthenticated Jobs API accepts an absolute or traversing agent_file path in POST /api/v1/runs and passes it to the job executor without a workspace allowlist or boundary check. A remote caller can cause the server to open files accessible to the service account, exposing credentials, keys, environment variables, and other local data.

CVE-2026-56839
High

In PraisonAI prior to 4.6.59, the CODE_TOOLS wrappers keep _workspace_root as None and pass workspace=None to read_file, search_replace, and apply_diff helpers that enforce path containment only for a truthy workspace. An application exposing code_read_file, code_search_replace, or code_apply_diff before set_workspace can let prompt-influenced calls read and modify files outside the intended project directory.

CVE-2026-55795
Medium

Craft Commerce is an ecommerce platform for Craft CMS. From 4.0.0 until 4.11.2 and 5.6.5, CartController in src/controllers/CartController.php activates its RateLimiter only when the number POST or GET parameter is supplied. An unauthenticated attacker can submit couponCode values to actionUpdateCart for the session-based cart while omitting number, preventing creation of the IP rate-limit identity and allowing unlimited automated coupon-code guessing and enumeration. This issue is fixed in versions 4.11.2 and 5.6.5.

CVE-2026-55236
Medium

langgraph-api implements the LangGraph API for rapid development and testing. Prior to 0.10.0, the langgraph-api run-creation path authorizes the assistant attached to a run by dispatching assistants.search with an incomplete value instead of the assistants.read event used by direct reads and cron creation. In deployments with custom resource handlers that register only assistants.read, omit an assistants.search handler, and have no global fallback handler, no applicable handler supplies an owner filter, allowing a low-privileged user to reference another user's private assistant through POST /runs or POST /threads/{thread_id}/runs. The run-creation response can disclose the private assistant's metadata, config, and context, and the run can execute using that assistant's configuration. Deployments without custom authorization handlers, or with an equivalent owner filter applied through a global handler or across all assistant events, are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 0.10.0.

CVE-2026-55235
Medium

langgraph-api implements the LangGraph API for rapid development and testing. Prior to 0.10.0, langgraph-api permits a run or cron to specify a relative webhook target that is delivered through an in-process loopback transport, and the authentication middleware treats that transport as internal without applying the authentication context used for external requests. In deployments that rely on per-user authorization to separate threads and runs, an authenticated user can direct a webhook to the server's own thread and run routes, allowing creation of a run on or modification of another user's thread and limited incorporation of the targeted thread's metadata into the created run record. The affected path requires webhook targets and per-user authorization boundaries; deployments that deliberately re-enable loopback delivery should restrict it to controlled same-process routes because those webhooks remain unauthenticated. This issue is fixed in version 0.10.0.

CVE-2026-54542
Low

In Nimiq (Rust implementation) before version 1.6.0, a vulnerability allows a malicious state-sync peer to crash a syncing node by sending a crafted TrieChunk proof causing an out-of-bounds panic.

CVE-2026-54541
Low

In Nimiq (Rust) before 1.6.0, a vulnerability allows a malicious state-sync peer to crash a node by sending a TrieProof with duplicate keys, leading to a panic due to improper handling of None.

CVE-2026-54529
Medium

SQLAdmin is a flexible Admin interface for SQLAlchemy models. Prior to 0.27.1, ModelView.sort_query in sqladmin/models.py accepts the attacker-controlled sortBy list-view query parameter without enforcing the configured column_sortable_list server-side allow-list in self._sort_fields. The value is resolved with getattr and passed to relationship joins and order_by, allowing requests to sort by columns hidden from column_list and by related-model columns through dotted paths. The resulting row order forms an information-exposure oracle for unexposed values, and reversing ascending and descending order confirms their relative ordering. Pairing sortBy with searchable or filterable columns and pagination can narrow the oracle toward specific values, but exact recovery depends on the application's available fields and data. This issue is fixed in version 0.27.1.

CVE-2026-53708
Medium

ContextForge is an AI gateway, registry, and proxy that provides centralized discovery, guardrails, and management for MCP, A2A, and REST or gRPC APIs. Prior to 1.0.3, the /admin/gateways/test call site in mcpgateway/admin.py calls validate_gateway_test_url() in mcpgateway/common/validators.py to resolve and reject private, loopback, link-local, and cloud-metadata addresses, but ResilientHttpClient later resolves the original hostname again without binding the validated address. When MCPGATEWAY_ADMIN_API_ENABLED is enabled, an attacker with a database-backed role containing explicit gateways.read permission can use DNS rebinding to return a public address during validation and a private or metadata address during connection, bypassing ssrf_blocked_networks and ssrf_dns_fail_closed because those controls apply only to the validation-time result. The endpoint's allow_admin_bypass=False setting means a bootstrap-only virtual platform-admin identity without a database role is not sufficient. Successful exploitation can reach internal services and cloud metadata, expose cloud credentials, access internal APIs, or probe internal network ports. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.3.

CVE-2026-4103
Medium

Insufficient HTML sanitization in the Publisher Portal and Developer Portal allows untrusted user input to be rendered without proper encoding or neutralization. This enables the injection and execution of malicious JavaScript when affected API documents are viewed.

CVE-2026-47701
High

In OpenTelemetry Operator prior to 0.152.0, TargetAllocator instances with targetAllocator.prometheusCR.enabled set to true preserve a selected ServiceMonitor endpoint's bearerTokenFile value as HTTPClientConfig.Authorization.CredentialsFile. A tenant who can create or update a ServiceMonitor matched by selectors can point bearerTokenFile at a file in the Collector pod, including the service account token, and direct scraping to a tenant-controlled endpoint, disclosing the Collector's service-account JWT or other mounted files.

CVE-2025-24890
Medium

gitoxide is an implementation of git written in Rust. Prior to 0.13.3, the gix-sec crate on Windows incorrectly treats repositories controlled by another user as trusted when an administrator runs a dependent program with an unfiltered elevated token. In gix-sec/src/identity.rs, gix_sec::identity::is_path_owned_by_current_user obtains folder_owner and token_owner, but its administrator-specific IsWellKnownSid and CheckTokenMembership checks examine the running token rather than confirming the directory owner. This bypasses safe.directory-style protection for repositories owned and configured by a limited user, allowing repository configuration or hooks to execute commands with the administrator's privileges when an affected operation is performed. Exploitation requires Windows, an elevated administrator, a program that relies on gix-sec trust results, and interaction with a repository controlled by another user. An unelevated UAC process is not affected, and cloning is not affected because repository configuration and hooks are not copied. This issue is fixed in version 0.13.3.

CVE-2026-90791
Medium

A vulnerability was detected in GPAC up to f1219cde. This vulnerability affects the function gf_node_unregister of the file scenegraph/base_scenegraph.c of the component MP4Box. The manipulation results in use after free. The attack can be executed remotely. The exploit is now public and may be used. Upgrading to version abi-16.23 is able to resolve this issue. The patch is identified as 9eb40df4448b88d6a6ce3454657c06f47eff0b24. Upgrading the affected component is recommended.

CVE-2026-90790
Medium

A security vulnerability has been detected in a2aproject a2a-python up to 1.1.3. This affects the function _dispatch_notification of the file src/a2a/server/tasks/base_push_notification_sender.py of the component Push Notification Sender. The manipulation of the argument push_info.url leads to server-side request forgery. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. Upgrading to version 1.1.4 is able to mitigate this issue. It is suggested to upgrade the affected component.

CVE-2026-90789
High

A weakness has been identified in itsourcecode Leave Management System 1.0. Affected is some unknown functionality of the file /login.php. Manipulation of the user_email argument can lead to SQL injection. The attack may be launched remotely, and the exploit has been made available to the public.

CVE-2026-82438
High

Three separate mechanisms in Apache Storm's HTTP components allowed a web page on an unrelated origin to read responses served to an authenticated user. The Logviewer reflected the request's Origin header in Access-Control-Allow-Origin while also sending Access-Control-Allow-Credentials: true, the shared CORS filter was misconfigured (a response header name was supplied where an initialisation parameter name was expected, so the container applied its own credential-allowing defaults), and the UI and Logviewer wrapped API responses in a caller-supplied JSONP callback for every GET request. In each case, a page visited by an authenticated operator can read cluster, topology and log data on their behalf.

CVE-2026-82437
Medium

In Apache Storm's Logviewer, the `logs.users` and `logs.groups` access controls were not applied to daemon logs — the authorization decision was overridden by the "this is a daemon log" flag, and the daemon log page and download endpoints reached the handler without consulting an authorizer at all. Additionally, the `/listLogs` and `/searchLogs` endpoints accepted a user argument but never applied it, returning every tenant's log file names. The issue was fixed in version 3.1.0.

CVE-2026-82435
Critical

In Apache Storm before 3.1.0, a vulnerability exists: the Netty decoder is installed before authentication and processes frames without verification, allowing an unauthenticated attacker to allocate large buffers and potentially cause memory pressure on workers.

CVE-2026-82434
Medium

When ZooKeeper authentication is configured, Storm deliberately retains storm.zookeeper.topology.auth.payload in the topology configuration, and Nimbus serves that configuration to any caller with read-only topology permissions. A user granted only topology view access receives the ZooKeeper credential, which is write-capable and allows forging or removing topology state. The credential also reaches logs (INFO in the submission client, DEBUG in SASL handlers), and version 3.1.0 removes it from the served configuration and logs.

CVE-2026-82433
Medium

In Apache Storm before 3.1.0, the getNimbusConf function returns full configuration without redaction, and the UI endpoint /api/v1/cluster/configuration lacks proper authorization, potentially exposing passwords and keys.
