Weekly CVE digest
One email a week with newly published vulnerabilities worth knowing about. No account needed.
This digest covers new vulnerabilities in general, not your servers. If you want to know which of them actually run in your infrastructure, that is what Secvalis does: it scans your machines and reports only what concerns them.
Stored XSS vulnerability in WatchGuard Fireware OS in the Autotask Technology Integration module. Improper input neutralization during web page generation allows persistent injection of malicious script.
Stored XSS vulnerability in WatchGuard Fireware OS in the ConnectWise Technology Integration module. Improper input neutralization during web page generation allows persistent injection of malicious script.
Stored XSS vulnerability in WatchGuard Fireware OS in the Tigerpaw Technology Integration module. Improper input neutralization during web page generation allows persistent injection of malicious script.
DCIM dcTrack platforms utilize default and hard-coded credentials for access. An attacker could use these credentials to administer the database, escalate privileges on the platform, or execute system commands on the host.
Medtronic CareLink Network allows a local attacker with access to log files on an internal API server to view plaintext passwords from errors logged under certain circumstances. This affects CareLink Network before December 4, 2025.
Medtronic CareLink Network allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to initiate a request for security questions to an API endpoint that could be used to determine a valid user account. This issue affects CareLink Network: before December 4, 2025.
Origin validation error vulnerability in BeeDrive in Synology BeeDrive for desktop before 1.4.3-13973 allows local users to write arbitrary files with non-sensitive information via unspecified vectors.
A vulnerability in Synology Mail Server allows remote authenticated attackers to read and write non-sensitive settings, and disable some non-critical functions.
A vulnerability in VideoPlayer2 subtitle cgi allows remote authenticated users to read .srt files.
A vulnerability in FileStation file cgi allows remote authenticated users to read file metadata and path information.
A vulnerability in FileStation thumb cgi allows remote authenticated users to read/write image files.
An improper control of dynamically-managed code resources vulnerability in the WebAPI component in Synology DiskStation Manager (DSM) before 7.1.1-42962-8, 7.2.1-69057-2, and 7.2.2-72806 and Synology Unified Controller (DSMUC) before 3.1.4-23079 allows remote authenticated users to obtain privileges without consent via unspecified vectors.
RomM (ROM Manager) prior to 4.4.1 and 4.4.1-beta.2 allows an authenticated user to delete collections belonging to other users by directly sending a DELETE request to the collection endpoint. No ownership verification is performed before deleting collections. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.4.1 and 4.4.1-beta.2.
RomM (ROM Manager) allows users to scan, enrich, browse and play their game collections with a clean and responsive interface. Prior to 4.4.1 and 4.4.1-beta.2, users can read private collections / smart collections belonging to other users by directly accessing their IDs via API. No ownership verification or checking if the collection is public/private before returning collection data. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.4.1 and 4.4.1-beta.2.
Envoy is a high-performance edge/middle/service proxy. In 1.33.12, 1.34.10, 1.35.6, 1.36.2, and earlier, Envoy’s mTLS certificate matcher for match_typed_subject_alt_names may incorrectly treat certificates containing an embedded null byte (\0) inside an OTHERNAME SAN value as valid matches.
A vulnerability in HCLTech GRAGON before version 7.6.0 allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code via APIs that do not enforce limits on the number or size of requests.
A Cross Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability was found in HCLTech DRAGON prior to version 7.6.0. Missing security directives allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code in the victim's browser context.
Side-channel information leakage in Navigation and Loading in Google Chrome prior to 139.0.7258.66 allowed a remote attacker to bypass site isolation via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
Envoy is a high-performance edge/middle/service proxy. In 1.33.12, 1.34.10, 1.35.6, 1.36.2, and earlier, Envoy crashes when JWT authentication is configured with the remote JWKS fetching, allow_missing_or_failed is enabled, multiple JWT tokens are present in the request headers and the JWKS fetch fails. This is caused by a re-entry bug in the JwksFetcherImpl. When the first token's JWKS fetch fails, onJwksError() callback triggers processing of the second token, which calls fetch() again on the same fetcher object. The original callback's reset() then clears the second fetch's state (receiver_ and request_) which causes a crash when the async HTTP response arrives.
A vulnerability in Aquarius Desktop 3.0.069 for macOS stores user authentication credentials in a local file using a weak obfuscation scheme. The password is 'encrypted' through predictable byte-substitution that can be trivially reversed, allowing immediate recovery of the plaintext value.
