Podlove Podcast Publisher vulnerabilities

Unauthenticated Cross Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Podlove Podcast Publisher plugin versions up to 4.5.4. An attacker without authentication can inject a malicious script into the page, which executes in the victim's browser.

The Podlove Podcast Publisher plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file uploads due to missing file type validation in the 'podlove_handle_cache_files' function in all versions up to and including 4.5.1. This allows unauthenticated attackers to upload arbitrary files on the server, potentially leading to remote code execution.

The Podlove Podcast Publisher plugin for WordPress up to version 4.5.3 contains an arbitrary file deletion vulnerability. Authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access can delete arbitrary files on the server, potentially leading to remote code execution.

The Podlove Podcast Publisher WordPress plugin before version 4.5.3 does not perform nonce validation on some administrative create and delete actions. Attackers can create rogue records or delete legitimate ones via a forged request (CSRF) when a logged-in administrator is tricked into visiting a crafted page.
