A memory corruption issue was addressed by removing the vulnerable code. This issue is fixed in iOS 27 and iPadOS 27, macOS Golden Gate 27, visionOS 27. Processing a maliciously crafted image may lead to arbitrary code execution.

A permissions issue in Apple systems was addressed with additional restrictions. The issue is fixed in iOS 26.7 and iPadOS 26.7, iOS 27 and iPadOS 27, macOS Golden Gate 27, and visionOS 27. A malicious app may be able to gain root privileges.

A privacy issue was addressed by removing the vulnerable code. This issue is fixed in iOS 18.7.2 and iPadOS 18.7.2, iOS 26.1 and iPadOS 26.1, macOS Sequoia 15.7.2, macOS Sonoma 14.8.2, macOS Tahoe 26.1, visionOS 26.1. An app may be able to access sensitive user data.
